LAB 6 : PACKET CRAFTING USING HPING    

  1.  

  2. File name : hping.win32.tar.gz

     

     

  3. IP Sender and Receiver

    IP SENDER: 192.168.2.6

    IP RECERIVER: 192.168.2.5

     

    3a. Command used send SYN packet : hping –S    192.168.2.5 –c 1

     

    3b. Command used port 80 : hping –S    -p 80    192.168.2.5 –c 1

     

    3c. Command used port 23 with PSH, total packet size 100

        Size(100) – IP header(40) = data (60)

    Command : hping –P –p 23 192.168.2.5 –c 1 -d 60

3d.Command used port 21 with PSH bit/flag

    Data/payload content the word : ‘I am finish’

    Hint: send data from file

    Command : hping -P 192.168.2.5 -c 1 -p 21 -d 60 -E data.txt

 

LAB 7: INVALID PACKET

  1. Windump : www.winpcap.org

     

 

    Hping            windump

IP sender & receiver same as above

Instruction :    

  1. Run hping to produce invalid packet and run windump to capture
  2. Produce 5 invalid packet that violate TCP/IP using hping
  3. Write the result
  4. Restore the original setting

 

  1. Hping -S -F 192.168.2.5 -C 1 = SYN & FIN are open at the same time

     

  2. Hping -X -Y -U -A -P -R -S -F 192.168.2.5 -C 1 -S = all flags are op35en at the same time

     

  3. Hping -X 192.168.2.5 -C 1 -S = TCP server(x bit) is open/on

     

  4. Hping 192.168.2.5 -C 1 = no flags open at all

     

  5. Hping -P 65570 -S 192.168.2.5 -C 1 =    port exceed 655
